Dial Up Users:
The following instructions are for the older Windows 95 and Windows 98 users. Mac users should
go to the Mac Support section for instructions. After
you've setup an account with us, just follow the instructions below to
configure the dial-up networking on your computer. Print out these
instruction before you start so they're handy. You can

SMTP Server: smtp.ewebforce.net (If you use Web Force for Internet Access).
POP3 Server: mail.yourcompanyname.com or one of our Public Mail Servers, mail.forcemail.com, mail.columbusmail.com, or mail.chaosmail.com
Web Servers. Each Web Server has it's own SMTP Server to be used for web
sites.

before the dial-up phone number.

Instructions:
1) On your desktop, left double-click the "My Computer"
icon.
2) Left double-click the "Dial-Up Networking" icon.
3) Left double-click on "Make New Connection".
4) A box should appear that says "Type a name for the computer you are
dialing". In this box, type in "Web Force Systems".
5) Leave "Select a device" alone because it will try to detect your
modem for you.
6) Left click on "Next" button at bottom of page.
7) Type in Area Code and Phone Number. This is where you are calling from.
8) Leave Country Code as the United States of America.
9) Left click on "Next" button at bottom of page.
10) The last box should say "You have successfully created a new Dial-up
Connection called "Web Force Systems"".
11) Now click on the "Finish" button at the bottom to complete this
process.
At this point, you should see a new icon called "Web Force
Systems" in your Dial-Up Networking box. If you see this, then please
continue.
12) Position your mouse cursor over the new icon, "Web Force Systems"
and right click. A box will appear. Left click on
"Properties". We are going to change the properties of this
connection.
13) The General Tab should be displaying. Midway down the General Page will be a
small box with a checkmark in it that says "Use area code and Dialing
Properties". Left Click that box so the check mark is gone and is no longer
displayed.
14) Then click on the "OK" button at the bottom of the page to save your changes.
Finally, move your the "Web Force Systems" icon to
your desktop for easy accessibility. Your desktop is the main display area
after you boot your computer. You can put often used programs (icons)
there to find and execute them faster. If you know how, drag &
drop your new Web Force Systems Dial Up Connection your PC desktop. You do this
by using the left button on your mouse. Left click on the "Web Force
Systems" icon and hold the button down. While holding it down, move
your mouse (this is called dragging) to drag the icon out of Dial Up Networking
and position what you are dragging somewhere on your desktop. You're done.
To test your connection, double click on the "Web Force
Systems" icon on your desktop. It should dial and make an Internet
Connection. After connecting, it will disappear and a little icon will
appear in your Start Bar. Load your browser and start browsing the
Internet to test your connection. If you know how, you should also
be able to ping one of our routers at 209.115.48.1. You are now ready to
be a Force on the Internet.
